COLOR ART THERAPY
Therapeutic Art
for Children
Art therapy can contribute to strengthen and regulate the world of emotions that are intrinsically linked to the qualities of the soul.
Art can represent a resource for children who experience social difficulties and lack of emotional management, mainly due to a diagnosed disorder and complex family contexts.
The Importance of Color
The artistic work, the color, the imaginative pictorial world can contribute to make emotions and reality freer and more conscious, thus appealing to a release of tensions in the human being.
The foundations of this art-therapeutic work are based on Rudolf Steiner's "The Essence of Colors". The artistic work allows, thanks to the color and the creative act, to work on one's emotions, harmonizing the various aspects of the personality. The creative work helps the person to acquire greater self-awareness, to his ability to relate to himself and to others.
