Mathematics is often one of the most complex subjects to understand. At EducArte Ibiza we focus on how to present numbers, operations and how to transform abstract concepts into authentic games and stimulating challenges for children, awakening an organic interest in learning.

The amazement and self-discovery of the universal mathematical secrets through art, are pedagogical lines that I develop to promote active learning and encourage a healthy relationship between the child and mathematics.

Mathematics can be found throughout the universe: in nature, in music, in rhythm, in the human body, in architecture, in dance, and so on. And presenting them from this universal principle encourages a practical look at mathematics in children's everyday life.

Math classes are developed through rhythmic games that help reinforce coordination, rhythm, motor skills and mental capacity in preparation for abstract and written calculation.

Each class goes through the process of: movement, awakening of interest (mood, motivation) to finally capture the calculation and mathematical operations in the notebook.

Storytelling, drawing, numbering, calculus, problem solving, geometry, and measurements explained in an active and artistic teaching climate are resources used for mathematical understanding.

Each class is adapted to the specific needs of the child, according to his or her age and school year.
