Art can represent a resource for children who experience social difficulties and lack of emotional management, mainly due to a diagnosed type of disorder and complex family contexts.

Art therapy can contribute to strengthen and regulate the world of emotions that are intrinsically linked to the qualities of the soul.

The artistic work, the color, the imaginative pictorial world can contribute to make emotions and reality freer and more conscious, thus appealing to a liberation of tensions in the human being.

Colors and Emotions in Child Development

In the individual sessions we work with the technique of watercolor painting. The choice of using watercolor is considered especially appropriate to accompany children in their evolutionary growth path, since the activity with color is directly connected with the forces of movement, and of course, with the emotional forces that are very active at an early age.

General Objective

To offer new resources to the child to understand the relationship with himself, with others and with the environment in which they live, through the moral qualities of color, and to promote integration between the various skills and therapeutic action compared to internalized experiences, thus improving socialization and the development of emotional education.
